Lakehead University's Thunder Bay campus is located on a 117.5-hectare site. Lakehead University has ten faculties: Business Administration; Education; Engineering; Graduate Studies; Health and Behavioural Sciences; Law; Natural Resources Management; Northern Ontario School of Medicine; Science and Environmental Studies; and Social Sciences and Humanities. The teaching faculty includes 286 full-time members. The university library, which is the largest library in northwestern Ontario, consists of the Chancellor Norman M. Paterson Library and the Education Library.
