Kinesiology is the scientific study of human movement with a focus on prevention of injury and chronic disease. Trent University is collaborating with the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) to deliver this comprehensive program in which the first 2 years are completed at Trent’s Peterborough campus, and years 3 and 4 at UOIT in Oshawa. Students gain the knowledge and skills to become a kinesiology practitioner, able to prescribe individualized exercise programs to improve or maintain the health, functional capacity and well-being of a range of healthy and clinical populations.
This program is a collaboration between Trent University and University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT).
Students will complete years 1 and 2 of the program at Trent University and years 3 and 4 at UOIT.
