Grad Family Business School Award
Eligible candidates are female undergraduate students who have received an offer of admission to a first-year, full-time, 4-year undergraduate academic program in the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics who are, at the time the offer of admission was made, Protected Persons (Refugees) under Canadian government regulations.
Candidates must demonstrate significant financial need. The award will be granted to the eligible candidate who demonstrates the greatest degree of financial need.
The award is renewable in the consequent 3 years of study if the recipient continues to be registered in the same full-time program, is meeting academic progression requirements for the program and continues to demonstrate financial need.
First consideration will continue to be given to applicants who are Protected Persons (Refugees). If no such candidate is found, the following candidates may be considered, in the following order or priority; Permanent Residents; individuals who became new Canadian citizens in the 12 months prior to the start of the academic year to which they have been admitted to the university; individuals who are the first member of their immediate family to attend postsecondary education; or individuals who are, or were, permanent Wards of the Crown.
