We encourage you to review the chart on our website to see the scholarship value that you could be eligible for, based on where you think your overall average will be in June. If you receive an offer of admission to Laurier, we'll let you know what your projected entrance scholarship will be based on where we think your top six 4U/M average will fall when we receive your final grades in June. Your scholarship for years two through four (five in some programs) will depend on the annual Grade Point Average (GPA) that you achieve.

How do you calculate my average for the entrance scholarship?
We calculate your average based on your final grades in your top six 4U/M courses, which we receive in June.

How do I renew my scholarship each year?
This is the best part - you don't have to apply to have it renewed! These scholarships will be automatically applied to your tuition invoice if you maintain the grade requirements.

If I don't meet the grade requirements in year two, for example, am I still eligible to receive a renewable scholarship in fourth-year?
Yes. If you achieve an annual GPA of 10 or higher in years two through four (five for some programs), you will be eligible to receive a renewable scholarship. The exception is the President's Scholarship which must be maintained annually.

If my GPA increases in university, will I receive a higher scholarship amount?
Absolutely! The amount of your renewable scholarship depends entirely on your GPA, regardless of what you received coming into first-year.
