York University Automatic Entrance Scholarship

You must be a high school student applying to a direct-entry undergraduate program and a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person. You must also have completed your high school diploma with high academic standing (minimum 80%).

Scholarship values:

• $3,500* (renewable for 3 additional years): final admission average 95% and above


• $2,000* (one time only): final admission average 90–94.9%


• $1,000* (one time only): final admission average 85–89.9%


• $500* (one time only): final admission average 80–84.9%

If your admission average is 95% or higher, the scholarship is renewable for an additional 3 years of full-time undergraduate study as long as you maintain high academic standing each year.

*If you qualify for one of the scholarships and accept your admission offer by the date indicated in your offer letter, you will also qualify for the Student Life Award, valued at $500 (one time only).
