$5,260 - $8,610 (per academic year, September to April).
- Algoma Dormitory residence: $8,610 (includes Traditional meal plan, internet access and damage deposit)
- Lou Lukenda Dormitory: $8,110 (Includes Traditional meal plan, internet access and damage deposit)
- Spirit Village Townhouse: $5,260 (does not include optional meal plan; includes internet access and damage deposit)
All residence rooms are private single rooms. Dormitory students share a bathroom with one other student of the same sex. Weekly cleaning is provided in dorm bathrooms, common areas and hallways. Dormitory common rooms are available that house study space, entertainment centres and microwave.
Townhouse students share two bathrooms, a full kitchen and a living area with four other students.
Wireless internet access in residence (common areas, outside, living rooms, etc.) and local phone service will be provided. Laundry and mail facilities are available on-site.
Guaranteed Single Residence Rooms for All First-Year Students
We guarantee a single room in residence to all first-year students who apply directly from high school and pay their deposit prior to the residence application deadline.
You must apply by June 1, 2017, with a refundable $500 deposit, plus a $35 non-refundable application fee, and remit the to the Housing Office at Algoma U.
A non-refundable $35 residence application fee is required when you submit your completed application, as well as a $500 refundable deposit.
The campus meal plan is mandatory for students living in dormitories and is included in the cost of the room. Dorm students have two meal plan options: a Traditional(full) or Choice(light) meal plan. Meal plans are optional for students living in the townhouse residences.

If you decide to not live in residence, you must let Algoma University know by August 1, 2017, in order to have your deposit refunded.
