Residence Halls: $11,372 (full meal plan included)
The Residence features a unique, modern design. You will have your own single room and share a bathroom with one other person. Furnished rooms includes a double bed, in-suite sink, desk, cable TV access, WiFi, and phone.
Each floor houses 40 single rooms, a laundry facility, lounge and quiet study room.
Barrier-free accommodation is available. The Residence Halls are co-ed. Alcohol-free and quiet areas are available based on student interest.
Note: The Residence facility is smoke-free. Smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas on the campus grounds.
Students living in Residence can expect to be included in a vibrant and active community on weekdays and weekends alike, in which Resident Assistants offer exceptional support to students. Residence Life staff organize regular Residence activities and outings such as movie nights, trips to the ski hills, fun competitions between Houses, and opportunities to volunteer.
The Orillia Campus is built to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards. As a student at the Orillia Campus you will be immersed in a campus environment that demonstrates and promotes awareness of the principles of resource conservation, sustainable growth, and the protection of the natural environment and biosphere.
High school guarantee: All high school students who are admitted to Lakehead University by June 1, 2017, and who complete their online Residence Housing Application/Contract and submit the non-refundable $500 down payment by June 1, 2017, are guaranteed a space in Residence.
You must submit a $500 down payment along with your residence contract by June 1, 2017, to guarantee a spot in residence.

Catered by The Madison County Food & Beverage Co. Ltd., the cafeteria offers meals for every taste, whether you're craving healthy options or comfort food. From soup, to deli sandwiches and wraps, to home-cooked meals, Madison County also accommodates vegetarian, vegan, halal, cultural/religious and gluten-free options.

Each high school student who is admitted to Lakehead University by June 1, 2017, will receive information about how to complete the online Residence Contract in their Lakehead University Offer of Admission package.
