Each apartment comes with 3 or 4 single bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room. Students can also enjoy the new bistro-style food, served in the attached restaurant.

West Residence

This 6-storey air-conditioned building has 55 furnished, self-contained apartments. Each apartment consists of 4 single furnished bedrooms, living room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Apartments are wired for cable television in the living room and high-speed internet in all of the bedrooms. Each floor has a lounge where guests can meet and socialize.

Single Student Residence (SSR)

Better known as SSR, this very popular and unique 3-storey building is located on the Laurentian campus. Each apartment has a living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, storage room and high-speed internet access. SSR provides accommodations for 396 guests with access to all services on the main floor (Student Street).

Mature Student Residence (MSR)

MSR is an 11-storey high-rise building that offers one-bedroom, apartment-style living. The 127 units provide considerably more privacy than the traditional-style residences.

University College (UC)

UC is a traditional dormitory-style residence that offers single and double accommodation for 240 guests. Each floor is equipped with a television/common room, kitchen and bathrooms, and each bedroom features high-speed internet connection. There is a large TV room on the main floor. UC houses a front desk service with a porter 24/7, and outdoor recreational facilities.

Huntington Residence

Huntington's Residence houses 171 students in a modern, co-educational setting with excellent kitchen facilities where students can cook their own meals. Students also have access to laundry facilities, TV lounges and study areas. There are 21 single and 75 double rooms. Huntington has its own social centre, a small exercise room and a library. Most students will quickly acquire a nickname, if they do not already have one. Such is the "esprit de corps" that exists in Huntington's residence setting.

Lucien Matte Residence

Lucien Matte Residence is home to 174 men and women in 92 single and 41 double bedrooms. Small sections of 12 to 14 students provide for a home away from home atmosphere. The common rooms on the ground floor help keep the room sections more quiet. Each room is equipped with cable TV service (no fee), an outlet for the internet (no fee) at each desk and an outlet for the telephone. Affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church, the residence welcomes some 60 first-year students each year.

Thorneloe University Residence

Thorneloe University Residence can accommodate 58 men and women in single rooms, and normally accepts about 20 new students every year. Affiliated with the Anglican Church, it is open to full-time students of all faiths.

Several different styles of on-campus residences are available, including apartments, single, double, co-ed and single-gender rooms.

In UCR, there is a kitchen on each floor equipped with 2 stoves, microwave and table with chairs. Bathroom facilities in UCR are communal; there are 3 showers on each floor.
