Room Types

Most first-year students are housed in double, gender-specific rooms. Both co-ed and all-female buildings are available, although the majority of buildings are co-ed.

Amenities

Themed Community options include: Alcohol-Free, All Female, Quiet.

Living Learning Communities include: Change Makers, Creative Expressions, eSports and Gaming, Global Perspectives, Health & Wellness, Innovation & Society, Leaders & Influencers, Outdoor Leadership, Startup, Teaching & Coaching, and Women in Leadership.

Every student in residence is provided with their own internet connection. All buildings are smoke-free and have secured entrances.

Residence Guarantee

The admission average required for guaranteed residence is reviewed annually and will be confirmed in early 2019. Guaranteed residence status is determined by academic performance (provided the deposit and residence application are received by the June 3 deadline). A wait list is established for those below the cut-off mark.

Meal Plans

Declining balance system with minimum, light, regular and varsity options ($4,135 – $4,735). Meal plans are required for all students in residence. Students living in the Bates or Mary E. Keyes buildings have the option of selecting a reduced meal plan ($2,975 – $3,575).
