About the Mississauga Campus

The University of Toronto Mississauga is a vibrant and active undergraduate and graduate campus that offers the benefits of a University of Toronto education in a beautiful, park-like setting. U of T Mississauga’s outstanding facilities, including a spectacular library and academic learning centre, as well as a recreation, athletics and wellness complex, are set in 225 acres of protected green space.

The campus is home to 14,885 full- and part-time students who are pursuing U of T degrees in arts, science, commerce and management.

Special Characteristics

U of T Mississauga offers 173 program options in 90+ areas of study, including humanities, social sciences, sciences and business. The interdisciplinary focus of many programs allows you to pursue degrees in more than 1 subject area. For example, studies in business and communication are brought together in Digital Enterprise Management; life science, ethics and social issues are brought together in Biotechnology. Courses are taught by world-renowned scholars and researchers who are committed to excellent undergraduate teaching.

U of T Mississauga is home to professional master’s programs in Management and Professional Accounting, Forensic Accounting, Biotechnology and Biomedical Communication. Combined Honours Bachelor’s/Master’s degree programs are offered in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Psychology/Child Study & Education, and Exceptionality in Human Learning/Child Study & Education. Honours Bachelor of Arts/Master of Information programs are available in Digital Enterprise Management and Communication, Culture, Information & Technology.

The innovative Academic Culture and English (ACE) program is designed for students who have been admitted to the U of T Mississauga but who require additional English-language skills training. Completing the ACE@UTM program may be a condition of an offer of admission. ACE@UTM is specifically designed to target the development of communication, research and study skills. The skills acquired will lead participants toward greater success in their studies.

The U of T Mississauga is also an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) testing centre.
