Front desk staff are available in various residences during the day, and are accessible by telephone on a 24-hour basis. All residences are smoke-free.

Residence Guarantee

Space in residence is guaranteed to all high school students who receive an offer of first-year, full-time admission to the main campus by mid-June. Students entering university with a 90% average or above, who live in residence for their first year, are guaranteed accommodation for their second year, provided that they re-apply by the deadline date (policy reviewed annually). Offers of residence are sent with offers of admission.

Meal Plans

$5,150 – $5,550 (figures based on 2018–2019 academic year).

With the exception of Alumni House and London Hall, exclusively upper-year buildings, each of Western's residences offers the convenience of in-house dining facilities. Two meal plan options offer choice and flexibility. Each plan includes a combination of residence dollars for items prepared in the dining hall, and flex dollars for convenience and off-campus purchases. If desired, meal plans can be topped up at no additional cost. Unused food credit balances at the end of the year can be carried forward onto a meal plan for the next academic year. For a $40 processing fee, unused food credit balances can be refunded.
