Intend to Apply for OSAP?

OSAP, or the Ontario Student Assistance Program, is a financial aid program funded by both the provincial and federal governments that helps you with the costs of postsecondary education.

Funding through OSAP includes:

  • Grants – money that you don’t have to repay.
  • Loans – money that you will have to repay when you are finished school.

OSAP considers many different factors when determining how much financial assistance you may receive, including:

  • Your educational costs (tuition, fees, books, whether you are living away from home, travel costs, where you are studying, etc.).
  • The financial resources you have available to contribute towards your own postsecondary education (family income, savings, scholarships, etc.).
