Offers of Admission

Basic Requirements for Admission

You must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent and a minimum of six 4U/M courses or equivalent, including program-specific prerequisite courses, with a minimum 70% overall final average (calculated using the best six 4U/M courses).

Failed and Repeated Courses

If you present a repeated 4U/M course, we will count the best grade achieved in the course toward your admission average.

Timing and Process for Admission Decisions

Early conditional offers of admission will be made in December 2018 and will continue on a rolling basis. To be considered for early admission, you must be registered in at least six 4U/M courses, including the appropriate prerequisites for your chosen program. Early conditional offers of admission will be based on final first-semester Grade 12 grades, interim grades and/or final 3U/M grades.

All offers of admission are conditional pending the successful completion of the OSSD with a minimum of six 4U/M courses or equivalent, including any outlined conditions and program-specific prerequisite courses, with a minimum overall average as outlined in your offer (calculated using the best six 4U/M courses).

In most instances, if you are not offered admission to your first choice program, you will automatically be considered for admission to an alternative program, provided you meet the admission requirements of that program.
